[Guide] how to set up Your WoW Folder for private servers

it depends on the server your trying to get on. just go to there web site and it should be there

You will need a repack/binary for a pserver which I found from johved

If people find it hard to setup a WoW server then you are most probably not using the right client for the repack/binary! To setup a WoW server all you need do is change a few things.

In client you go to C:\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS then to realmlist then just change "set realmlist" to your IP/Hamachi/127.0.0.1 I would suggest unless you need to patch it to say 3.2.0 then you should also delete the path to the updates!

Then in your arcemu folder (binary) in configs go to logon then look for
<Listen Host = and place your IP/Hamachi/127.0.0.1

Then into configs again and to realms look for <LogonServer Address =
again put your IP/Hamachi/127.0.0.1 then go to the bottom of realms and find

<Realm1 Name = "ArcEmu"
Address = "Your IP/Hamachi/127.0.0.1:8129"
Icon = "PVP"
Population = "0"
TimeZone = "8">

Done but you MUST have the correct repack AND client for it to work!

I am using wotlk on patch 3.2.0 and yes there are issues with it but meh there always will be issues with pservers lol.

I would upload the binary folder here but not sure if I am allowed to do that? Give quick answers and if all are ok with it then I will upload the pserver binary for people The list of GM commands are huge but I will also get them for people The main problem I find is how to use the commands such as .char additem 13444 and there is also /commands >.<
