Well lottery is all about luck. So its optional what your going to win. You never know it could be a met DARN IT a DB woo or class5money bag. You never know. But what i have seen is like when its a special holiday say Christmas. Okay its that special day quest is going on. And stuff. Okay my friend had gave me 54 cps cause he couldn't go into lotto any more so i went in. Won a Db. Luck. So he said hold the db go in again i did. Won a soc dex ring mayjor luck. So i would say like on special holidays there's better luck cause they raise the lottery text where better stuff is won easier.
But 777 has a good idea cause if you keep clicking the same box you'll run down what items are in there and your going to get some thing big what you never know. |

Well it's not all about luck. Since everything on mmorpgs have a certain % of something happening, e.g getting a socket/2nd socket in your eq in tc, chance of your item quality upgrading in tc, equip upgrading in tc and so forth.
As for jemy proving it... i wouldn't count on him

Unless we can get a peek at TQ's lucky draw algo, OR deloy 500 bot-chars across the server to perform different activities and log all the events that have taken place. It is hard to find a pattern.
Just to add in another point. Even if a particular item is meant to come out at ... say the 100th draw, chances are there might be many people attempting to make the 100th draw. Randomness in player participation is another thing to consider. Some might have gotten super lucky and won a lot of shit, but the richest are still the bulkers or the pro marketeers. EDIT: one can argue if it is computer stuff, it has to be a way. YES that is true, but even the process of figuring that out without the source counts in some sort of luck. Private server generally have higher drop rates than official ones. How is that achieved? Drop rate is considered one of the luck factors in game. Since that is adjustable by server hosts, so can the chances of things coming out in lucky draw. And i am certain that the lucky draw event probabilities are runtime based. Lastly, if you are REALLY certain about your lucky draw times/methods/nailer-tricks, either you keep it to yourself and continue owing the hell out of your server's economy and the BP realm, OR, you can share it with us; certain tricks might not be universal
